I've done a side by side and I'm afraid it is quite distinct from 2021's DL/Honeycomb/Vanilla Butter, and imo if you are a honeycomb hound, this one is better. I also feel like there's a sun/moon heads/tails between this one and another recent bee product plus leaf creation, the 2024 Deer Moon Golden Tobacco and Beeswax duet. that one is cool and murky and this one is warm and bright (but also sweeter). anyway I am going to get more of this, it is great. theredkilt Report post Posted November 21 (edited) In the decant, the honeycomb note reminds me a great deal of the Honey, Sweet Orange and Orange Blossom from the Lupercalia Honeypot series. In my skin, the dead leaves and the honeycomb take on a surprising turn. On my skin I get dry green yellowing leaves with a spray of green citrus peel zest. Feels at times like a chypre.
