doomsday_disco Report post Posted October 11 A one-two punch from mother Malus pumila: a steaming dipperful of expertly-spiced cider that’s been slapped with a generous splash of aged apple brandy. Remember, if it’s boiled, it’s spoiled!
izile Report post Posted October 22 In the bottle: bright apple cider, a little sharp, any booze isn't super obvious. Wet: a soft booze note,.still mostly bright sharp apple on top of sweeter apple. Dry: I would have liked a bit more booziness in this, but it's a great apple scent that stays bright for a while.
splendidissima Report post Posted Wednesday at 10:11 AM Mostly lovely apple cider, bright apple + spices! A little extra booze - the brandy note is noticeable but not dominant. Not as sweet as, say, the Apple Cider Donut, but still mostly apple cider, which I like!
doomsday_disco Report post Posted Thursday at 06:00 PM This is more about the brandy than the cider on me, although you can tell that the cider (which is not heavily-spiced!) is there. The brandy note in here is the same as it has been in all of the Lab's scents containing it over the past few years -- on me, it's boozy (but not overly so), somewhat woodsy, and somewhat fruity and waxy. It's more brandy-heavy than the Snow Moon: Apple Liqueur and Brandy duet from earlier this year, which was more apple-centric. I don't think I'd reach for this one, but this would be good for someone who is looking for a less sweet cider spiked with some booze.
