doomsday_disco Report post Posted November 14 Ancient cypresses surrounding clusters of purple hyacinth, fallen leaves, and crosses crafted from white roses. A splash of rosewater, an immortelle hung on a tear-streaked marble tomb, nightshade berries, smoked lilac, warm beeswax, and a snuffed candle. patina Report post Posted 17 hours ago (edited) I had to try this one, for the painting and also the hyacinth plus wax. In the vial I get wax and something that has the green peppery smell of ivy. Then, when I put it on I got a pale blue scent I thought was lilac and jasmine because I'd forgotten the notes. Very lilac colored, very pale blue, very Gibson Girl, very sophisticated femme. A 19th century Parisian governess? Then the woods, dead leaves and smoke come out more. It would probably be just as appropriate for a February with lingering woodsmoke as for the fall.
