Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy I will absolutely update this if I am proven wrong after it settles for a week or two. I haven't retested this yet, but I wanted to say something about this. I think it's horrible to trick folks into thinking they are getting an amazing perfume and then add unlisted cumin to it. Maybe that's the point of the Krampus lashes? Ha ha, gotcha! We put cumin in your chocolate! Well, I'm not amused. The cumin ruined this and I think it was very bad form to not list it in the notes. Updated 12/16: It has been two weeks since I tested this so I figured I would try again. The cumin got stronger. This time I couldn't stand to wait for the drydown and had to use a tea tree pad to scrub it off. What happened with this one? It is so extremely off-putting. I would love to read other reviews of this monstrosity. Now I'm afrad of anything new with chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and black musk because this oil has traumatized me. 😪 Edited December 16, 2024 by HerbGirl The cumin ramped up! RoseThornAndOak Report post Posted December 22, 2024 Ok HerbGirl, I'm glad I'm not losing my damn mind here. This is a stronkedy stronk stronkerson spice, that is stronk. Cumin ain't far off, like at all. My bottle is cloudy AF, there's speckles, I'm confused and WTH. It's like, the most animalic black musk you have ever encountered, and cranked past 11, with spices amping out the wahoo. They don't mingle at all. I'm gonna hide and let this rest. I almost went with just this one from the Krampus update, and I'm glad I didn't and took a chance on Fourteenth, because that one went better on me. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
groovyrooby Report post Posted January 20 Love. I tried Seventeeth (soapy?) and Thirteenth (didn't expect so much mint) but this one here is for me! First test was no nutmeg just very cinnamony, and i worried because while I love cinnamon, it gives me the burns. And very pleasantly bitter chocolate. No burns! Wrists are clear! Second test was little cinnamon, more gloriously musky. Almost a wooly patchouli. Could've sworn it was a leathery Snake Oil (really one of the rare situations where leather works for me). Third test - i'm picking up the mysterious cumin now, too! It reminds me a bit of The Jeweled Spider, which I adore. This is like a wintery version. Bitter chocolate & toasted spices. Little dirty, nasty black musk, love, borderline work inappropriate but I would probably still do it. I smell so intriguing! Wonderful. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
