doomsday_disco Report post Posted November 23, 2024 Hush is a scent to cool the nerves and help inspire serenity in dark times: lemon myrtle, ylang ylang, tangerine, sandalwood, and lavender.
puellacaerulea Report post Posted December 15, 2024 In the imp and upon application, this is cool, herbaceous lavender and citrus that reminds me a bit of Fuck This Heat. As it dries down, the ylang ylang starts to come out more, but is never a loud presence; it's mostly adding a subtle, creamy floral back note to the citrus and lavender. Well after drydown, the lavender fades to the background and the citrus and ylang become more dominant. The sandalwood is there, but it's very subtle and just adds a bit of grounding to the citrus and creamy floral. Unusually good wear time for a lavender/citrus scent -- this was still present on my skin about 12 hours later.
Vaudenilla Report post Posted December 16, 2024 I’ve been sick in bed a lot lately, and Hush is soothing the aches and ails of my miasma. The lemony, citrusy element clears my head and sinuses and rejuvenates my spirit. The lavender calms my anxiety, lessens my tension, and I believe aids in alleviating my headache. The tangerine is brightening and the sandalwood warms and rounds the scent out. I am so pleased to have my imp of this!! Wear time: 10-12 hours!! Sillage: Medium, non-offensive! GalliumSpider Report post Posted December 24, 2024 To me it's sweet and lemony, almost a lemon cake kind of scent. Reminds me of my favorite hand lotion before they changed the formula!
Lunasariel Report post Posted Sunday at 06:58 AM In the imp: A fresh, clean herbal scent, predominantly lavender and lemon in that order. And maybe a little woodsy? Wet: Lemon (or at least citrus), herbal and just a little sweet, with the tangerine also coming out after a few minutes. Not as floral as I had expected. Dry: The citrus burns off, leaving the ylang ylang and sandalwood to come forward. It's a mild, creamy, floral-woodsy sort of scent. Cooling the nerves and inspiring serenity indeed! forspecial_plate Report post Posted 4 hours ago I wore this last night, it's really pretty, cool and light, lemony with a little lavender. Somehow it reminds me of Carnaval Diabolique and Antonino, like a little of both (which is a good thing for me). Probably more Antonino but the lemony part makes me think of CD. I will enjoy wearing this to help calm my nerves when needed.
