If you take the rich, dusty, vanilla of ORIGINAL Antique Lace - not the 2017 reboot, we are talking OG, mid-Aughts- and you replaced the faded florals with a powdery violet, you get this gorgeous specimen right here. I know we like to talk a big game 'round these parts, things getting compared in such and such manner to Antique Lace- I know. I KNOW. But I'm telling you, if you are even a LITTLE perked up by my assessment, you NEED to try this. You will be deeply saddened and have only yourself to blame when I hoard all existing bottles and won't share Kidding aside, this perfume is a standout.
