doomsday_disco Report post Posted January 3 Sometimes I wonder about the choices I made in life that led me to making things like a Meatball Jazz Hands perfume. Honestly, it’s more of a flourish or a reveal gesture, but it’s still jazz hands to me. Honeyed fig, brown labdanum, spiced ginger cider, and pink peppercorn. AbbyNormal Report post Posted January 22 (edited) Everything about Meatball Jazz Hands was screaming at me to order it, so I did. It arrived today and I’m so happy I listened to it! Granted, I know it’s dealing with mail shock, but in the bottle is just gloriously warm. The ginger cider is making it presence known, and the rest just kinda hangs back. When I put on a drop it was initially a blast of ginger but after a few the labdanum and fig come forward. This scent is so me and I just want to lick my arm, even though it’s not really a gourmand. My only wish is that the chicken lady had made it onto the bottle artwork, but I do love that when I open my BPAL cabinet there’s a giant meatball staring back at me Edited 3 hours ago by AbbyNormal
OxfordComma Report post Posted January 25 (edited) Spiced ginger cider indeed! Smells like the coziest winter nostalgia imaginable. The spices aren't overwhelming, the honey isn't a facepunch of sweet or indolic, the labdanum isn't running roughshod over everything else. It's just cozy. The scent equivalent of coming in out of the cold to a festive holiday party. Warm drinks, winter spices, and a general sense of wellbeing. This makes feel very comforted in an oddly familiar way, but nothing I can put my finger on. It's fairly soft on me currently, but I'm more than willing to let it cook and see if that improves because it's just so cuddly.
