Teamama Report post Posted January 26 Squee! So happy I blind bottled this. It's 100% delightful. In the bottle, I only smelled orange blossom. No worries though: a few sprays later, I was surrounded by a gorgeous fresh orange scent. Exactly like peeling a fresh, juicy orange. Did I say fresh? It's really, really fresh. Like, look under your fingernails for orange zest fresh. I love it. Nine hours later, my hair still smells great. The orange blossom note is slightly more noticeable now. Laughing Seagull Report post Posted January 28 I was worried when I first popped the top off and sniffed this in the bottle. My first impression was bitter, BITTER!!! dry orange pith. I'm guessing the "pith" that I'm smelling is the orange blossom identified by Teamama (I'm not familiar with orange blossom). Fortunately, it transforms when I spritz it. I still have an impression of orange peel instead of the juicy inside. At some point while I was wearing it in my hair, I double-checked my tea serving pot to make sure I hadn't made orange peel tea and forgotten about it. It has pretty good staying power, which is always a pleasant surprise for a citrus scent. I wish that I got more juiciness from it, but it's a nice, distinctly orange scent after that weird in-bottle bitterness. Hopefully the fragrance will develop more in the juicy direction with a bit of aging.
Alethia Report post Posted February 11 In the bottle this was so bitter I was afraid to spray it. Thankfully it mellows out pretty quickly to a lovely orange smell that’s more orange blossom than juicy orange fruit to me. I actually don’t mind this as it reminds me so much of my dearly beloved and long departed Oceans of Love, Millions of Kisses bath oil. This is a keeper!
