DunmerMaiden Report post Posted March 15 I just got this one so it's still pretty fresh out of the mail but here are first impressions! In the bottle, the butter cream roses really do show up as very realistic frosting. There's something I was thinking was like a dark berry in the background but I think something about this blend is making the suede come off as fruity when wet. On my skin, the frosting goes away pretty quickly. I'm left with the suede and a tiny bit of rose. And something coming off a little bit like orris? Like a little lipstick-ish to me. Makes me think of what a 1940s starlet would smell like.
OxfordComma Report post Posted Tuesday at 08:33 PM Agreed with above! It vanishes on drydown but when I first sniffed it I wondered why tf I bought so many strawberry scents lol. The buttercream note is so pretty and does make me think of icing roses on a cake. The drydown is indeed a warm, skin/cosmetics type scent. Kinda 'effortlessly glam' type vibe. If I sniff directly I can pick out a suede note, but this isn't a typical leather note. Really decent throw though. I put some on the back of my hand to test and I'm sitting here playing vidja games going "oh! oooh!" every time I get a whiff.
SmellsPrettyGood2Me Report post Posted 18 hours ago Imagine that a rose pastille melted in the pocket of your suede spring coat when you left it in the car for a few hours on a sunny day, and every time you put the coat on after that you got the faintest whiff of powdery rose sugar. Sweet without being saccharine, beautifully delicate, with low silage. The musk hums in the background without getting dirty. I can see this being a very popular "bedtime" scent as it is snuggly and comforting.
