I thought this would be cooler and more green, but it's more floral than I wanted--maybe the eucalyptus blossom? Sadly, it's a no for me.

Gorgeous cool, airy scent. It comes across cool and crisp from the mint and eucalyptus blossom but not overly *minty* or in anyway astringent in the way eucalyptus bath products can be. I get more spruce in the bottle than I do on my skin, it is still there but softer and a bit sweeter. This means aquatic with the blue musk, and every so slightly salty. It's very much a wash of scent, not faint but sheer. The ambergris gives a nice body and halo to the scent, sort of blurring everything together. I swear I get a bit of lime or bergamot as well. It makes me think of looking at the sun glittering on the sea in the distance on a cool, crisp day.

I purchased a decant based on the listed blue spruce note, hoping for a conifer-based aquatic along the lines of, e.g., Jolly Roger. But alas, there is a prominent unlisted citrus. (I agree with roseus that it seems to be bergamot.)

In the vial:  Soapy, with a lingering hint of citrus once the initial wave of ambergris and musk passes.

Wet on skin: Soft citrus (bergamot, I think?) lounging on a cloud of floral soap suds. A more mellow cousin of Cthulhu, less aggressive on both the floral and the soap. I don't get any of the listed spruce, or any saltiness. Unfortunately, as with Cthulhu, to me the citrus feels a little discordant with everything else in the blend, a little too bright and sharp.

Dry: Dries down to a powdery, mentholic musk. There's a floral overtone from the eucalyptus blossom that shows up in the sillage, but not so much up close to the skin.

Post-workout: Sweat does this a favor, taming the citrus and bringing everything together into a more unified scent, but it also leaves things a little sour.

Ultimately, too floral and traditionally perfumey for my taste. I can definitely see the appeal for someone more drawn to clean floral scents, though.

Maybe I'm slowly becoming more of an aquatics person, but I really like this. It's crisp, a little floral, and has an almost melon-y scent on my skin. Over time the ambergris and salt foam become a lovely, bright skin scent, made a bit "colder" by the mint and blue musk. I didn't expect to like this one so much. It's a bit like Sea of Glass meets Dream of the Fisherman's Wife. I think it will be great for summer weather when I want to smell like something clean and cool.
