Meerkat Report post Posted March 19 What am I smelling? I am still not sure, but it's very interesting and unusual. Freshly applied, this is bright fruit hard candy of my childhood. Maybe those bonbons in a tin. The scent is fruity and sweet, with a tart hard candy edge. On the skin, after 15 minutes, I detect a sweet woody scent. It's in the vanilla family, but not quite. Akebia, is that you? Then, guava comes to play. Green bergamot gives the scent some sharpness that interplays with the fruit accords. Sandalwoods come out last, and remains on the skin as a barely detectable veil. Definitely interesting, unusual, and very pretty.
biggnerd Report post Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I have no idea how to describe this. It mainly smells like sassafras/sarsparilla with a smooth powderiness from iris and sandalwood. I don't get any fruits, just a strange herbal note with an undercurrent of a light floral and a hint of powdery wood.
