wendyb1063 Report post Posted March 17 This scent called to me, as I love its notes (although I wasn't entirely sure what "guava cream" was). A fruit-i-ental. On my skin, it is gorgeous: sweet, warm, sensuous, and inviting. The guava is indeed "cream": any acidity has been smoothly covered, but there is something fruity in there. It reminds me of a high-end perfume from the 90s... maybe the original Tuscany per Donna? Tresor? It's not a shy scent: this is a beautiful woman, inside and out, maybe not a young one, but a kind woman who has confidence and exudes happiness. She is delightful to be around, and even though you secretly wish you could BE her, you still love her.
Little Bird Report post Posted Tuesday at 10:16 PM Great Pleasures starts off smelling like fruit punch with a lot of orange in it (fruitiness that I don't recognize as guava), then goes through a phase of almond milk that smells creamy and soft with a drop of cherry-ish almond extract, then dries down to a light, almond scented lotion type of feel. Gentle, creamy, and clean. I think the sandalwood adds a bit of powder after a while, but I never really smell guava, amber, or incense.
kelpsoda Report post Posted Thursday at 03:37 AM (edited) Lovely fruit scented when wet. But I grow guavas, and this doesn't strike me as guava. I get almond milk when drying! yum. after a while it's just a faint fruity incense / red musk smell. I would liken it to Impeach. Same vibe. KuriousKat Report post Posted Thursday at 09:29 PM Clean floral opening, bit of mild incense a few minutes in, leading to creamy tart-sweet fruit. Overall it's fruity, not exactly guava, slightly floral, with a bit of incense flitting in and out.
