Oh this is nice. Violets and green tea with just a hint of mint to keep it all bright.

Okay, this one was the blind FS I chose for my order. I have high hopes.

The opening is wonderfully refreshing and light. The green tea is perfect, and keeps the jasminey florals citrusy and not too heavy. As it drys, the green tea drifts off and settles into the jasmine, which I honestly don’t hate.

the lotus root is here, but lends support to the jasmine, keeping it rounded. I’m not getting much from the mint cream or sugared violet on my skin, which is maddening because those where the notes I wanted to see the most, but I have hope they‘ll shine through as my bottle settles. As I sniff, I want to say the mint cream is helping with the refreshing aspect to this, but I would love if it showed itself more, rather than just subtly adding to the complexity.

for being so jasmine-forward, I really am enjoying this. It feels like a perfumey jasmine green tea, and I could definitely wear it as a calming day scent.

Opening with fresh, green notes (tea/mint?) giving way to a fresh jasmine. Much later, a creamy/powdery skin scent is left behind (lotus?). The freshness of the opening is lovely, but short lived, jasmine is the most prominent. Although i love jasmine, and this is a spring time fresh green jasmine, i'll stick with my decant as its not as complex nor as long lasting as I'd have liked. My dry skin makes that a challenge with most oils, to be fair.

Sniffed, I get the grassy sweetness of green tea, sugared violets, and jasmine. On my skin this is predominately violet, but balanced by a cool mint that is not so much minty as it is a freshness, a cool breeze that keeps the floral notes sweet, not shrill.  I'd say I'm getting more lotus and violet in the middle than jasmine, rounded out by cream. It's heavy on the "sweetened" from start to stop. The vibe is slipping into a whisper-light green satin robe spangled with pink flowers.
