furygrrl Report post Posted November 15, 2005 Even though I adore Lacoste Pour Femme, I would definitely consider replacing it with something from BPAL. Top Notes: Pepper Bergamot Ambrette Seed Oil (Does anyone know what this smells like on its own?) Mid Notes: Heliotrope Jasmine Hibiscus Bottom Notes: Cedar Gaiacwood (Again, no clue what this smells like.) Musk I've searched the BPAL catalogue for similar scents, but nothing's really clicked so far. The only one even semi-close was Fae with three similar notes - Bergamot, Musk, and Heliotrope - however, Fae also sounds incredibly peachy, and Lacoste isn't fruity in the slightest. Is anyone here familiar with Lacoste, and if so, could you recommend a substitute? Or perhaps you're one of those rare folk who can just make a suggestion based on the notes listed? Any thoughts or ideas are definitely appreciated! Share this post Link to post
Little Bird Report post Posted November 15, 2005 You might want to try Grandmother of Ghosts. It has the pepper, woods, and musk in it along with some florals. I think that might be the closest one. Fae was very fruity on me, and not floral at all. Share this post Link to post
