The Day Burned Bright. Creepiest, chalky, empty scent I have ever tried. Seriously...I can't wear it without thinking of Candyman and that empty feeling where his pictures were spray painted.

I have never had an imp from the lab break in the mail, I got a package once, and there was a broken imp in it. The glass cut my finger. What was the imp? Dracul. What else lol.

The Scales of Deprivation is another. It's a lifeless, hollow scent. You can almost picture a poor village where people are literally wasting away into skeletons, too starved to even move. I love the scent, but it's creepy as all get out.

My bpal experience has just begun, a friend let me sniff a few. My first wearing was The Appalling Abattoir. For some reason it scared me. It was beautiful, addicting but completely unsettling and I wish I could figure it out! After it finally wore off I thought "never again' but here I am thinking of buying her imp...but I am frightened!

I"m fairly new to bpal and most of what I have is from the main catalogue but I find Lampades haunting but beautiful. My notes for when I tried it was "this is exactly what a nymph of the underworld should smell like". Scarecrow creeps me out and Bluebeard is scary for sure, I really can't wear it.
