Lush to BPAL scent comparisons (BNever included too)

I am still on a hunt for an Alkmaar like scent.  So far, what I've tried has been too jasmine-y and not enough cream.

 

What I'm looking for is a non-foody rich cream scent (Dana O'Shee was too sweet) , with florals second.  Is it out there?

Perhaps Snow White (which smelled of jasmine and cream, among other things) or Chaste Moon (a delicious cream and floral blend) would work for you?

 

They both have a subtle fruity note to them though, and you might not want that.

I have Chaste Moon, and that is lovely - but too sweet for the Alkmaar-ness that I'm hunting for. Snow White, perhaps I can snag an imp.

And now I'm dying for more Alkmaar soap. I'm out.

this is sad, but I loooove the smell of Lush's Crashcourse in Skincare bio-mask- avocado and lemons are on the ingredients list; but I can't find any BPAL with avocado matching...

I found something that tickled the same memories. Not an exact match by any means, but on me Machu Picchu has that same green, almost lime-like but soft fragrance...

you want something with a hint of orange in to be like SDM - not sure what that would be. bliss is more like cadbury's dairy milk, velvet is drier with the sandalwood & all I can remember about gluttony was that I had to get rid of it as quickly as possible...

 

maybe bliss layered with an orangey something would be good.

Nanshe smells just like Ibiza Party Shampoo...So after my bottles are gone I'll still beable to have that lovely lemon clove scent all the time.

My favorite Lush soap is Ooh la la... the herbs and wininess added to the lavender... mmm.

 

Well it doesn't smell of lavender, but I think Bewitched goes amazingly well with Ooh la la due to the herbiness of it.

 

Another combo I like is You Snap The Whip, followed by Skin Sin and Lady Macbeth to top it all off. Seriously and mysteriously fruity!
