Allumina Report post Posted January 11, 2014 Leather tanned with the pulp of Amazon ferns and rainforest herbs. Wet, I get leather with something oddly sweet in the background, which I'm guessing is the greenery. On drydown I get leather, smoke, and a bit of something sweet underneath it all.So basically this is a less sweet Bonfire Night on me with leather instead of beer. Yum. <
Naomi Kelsey Report post Posted March 23, 2016 This smells exactly like the inside of a society lady's purse, circa 1965 or so. Expensive leather, a whiff of hand cream or scented lipstick, and that buttery, yet somehow crisp leather note. Very unique--not at all what I would normally wear but I think I'm about to go on a search for a bottle because it's so cool. As other reviewers noted, this is very different, even for BPAL. PumpkinGuts Report post Posted March 11 Age has been very kind to this blend. The leather is greenish brown, worn, and sun-dried, but still supple somehow. In the background there's a faint smokiness, almost incensey, and I may be going insane, but there's something here that reminds me of Loi Krathong. Not much greenery, but it does smell tropical.
