Cali Report post Posted March 2, 2023 (edited) STRONG ozone and a zing of something slightly lemony and spicy on a soft aquatic base. Agree with the earlier comparison to holy water - it's a slightly more lemony-fresh aquatic. Slightly more into cleaner-territory. ShadowEtienne Report post Posted June 19, 2023 I got this as a free imp added on to a forum order. I'm really glad to have gotten a chance to try it! I was nervous about the ozone, so ordering it was not high on my priority list, so I'm glad it landed in my path. Aquatics usually seem to behave pretty well on my skin, and this is no exception. Lightning smells like a storm, but also flowers that have had petals knocked off in heavy rain. I think that there might be a wee bit of lily in this, and it reminds me of a brighter sharper Sea of Glass. Lovely scent that I'm glad to add to my collection and might need a bottle of eventually. Jarek Report post Posted March 8 I had first smelled ozone from a different company that I yried whose perfumes sadly were not to my preference, so that worried me I wouldn't like BPAL's ozone, but I needn't have worried. :3 In the imp: fresh, clear, slight hint of what I know is ozone. Wet on skin: The aquatic and ozone notes are so, so prominent. And I love it. ShadowEtienne said it reminds him of a brighter & sharper Sea of Glass, and as I got that imp in this order too I can fully agree. I think I like Sea of Glass slightly more but I still really really like Lightning. It makes me want to try all of those "Lightning Strikes..." perfumes too. Aquatics work well on me often and this one doesn't remind me of doing the laundry. Dry: The scent doesn't morph or change much I find, it starts a lot like it was, maybe a bit of the crispness of the water goes away but the ozone and the watery scents stay pretty balanced. I really like this one and hope to one day add a bottle to my collection.
