bellumed Report post Posted July 26, 2022 (edited) Milk cresting on an ocean wave. Aged about five years: Bright-smelling, a bit of citrus and a lot of salt. Smelled nearly carbonated in the imp and wet but dried to a more recognizable ozone/aquatic scent. The creaminess is subtle. A unisex scent, easy to wear. I remember opening The Sea Foams Milk in the past and not liking it as much - I don't know if it's changed or I have, but I dig it now. ishmael Report post Posted December 18, 2022 Got it as a frimp, which was kinda disappointing as I would've liked to try sea foams blood instead. I smell zero milk. It smells like what you'd expect a hand soap called "ocean mist" to smell like, turning more "ocean mist blossom" as it goes. Very nope.
Cali Report post Posted March 3, 2023 A salty milky sea. It's quite soft. but the lab's salty sea note starts amping on me on drydown, so i'm gonna go ahead and wash this off before it goes haywire.
ShadowEtienne Report post Posted November 17, 2023 (edited) This is almost overwhelmingly coconut cream on my skin. Now I like coconut cream, but the only thing holding this scent back from being something that would make me chew on myself (because I like coconut cream, but it's a food) is the light waft of a slightly floral aquatic somewhat reminiscent of Sea of Glass. I think that I will pass this frimp along to someone else, but I'm glad I gave it a proper test. It's leaning dangerously close to being a scent that makes me chew on myself. Edited To Add: I have found that layered with In Templum Dei, this manages to evoke a different season of my beloved The Hound and the Milk White Doe, so I will be keeping some of this around. Jarek Report post Posted Friday at 03:04 AM Decant, not sure of bottle's age. In the vial: something sweet and the salty-aquatic note I'm a bit familiar with from other BPAL ocean aquatics. Wet on my skin: the sweet milky scent is at first hard to place and I almost think it smells fruity, but as I sniff or maybe it changes over the next minute or so to be more milky in nature. It's a sweet milk though, like sweetened cream or condensed milk or something like that. A milky candy maybe. And with the salty ocean-aquatic that's more prominent than just the whiff from the vial, and I think I see how aquatics like Cthulhu and R'Lyeh are "dark" ocean waters now because this is fairly bright. Medium throw. Dry, four/five hours later: low throw now but still quite present, I'm not used to the aquatic being the longer lasting element but it is in this perfume. Some of the milky sweetness remains but it's pretty faded by now, and some of the water aspect of the aquatic is gone, largely salt with some water now left. I really like this one. Love it even. I can see myself getting a bottle in the future.
