mistressfizz Report post Posted February 24, 2011 Pink rose, red musk, red sandalwood, oakmoss, vetiver, nectarine, black tea, ambrette, jasmine, and blackcurrant bud. Waiting for my 2011 Lupers to arrive...figured I'd visit some old ones.Sniff: Can't really pick out specific notes, just a woodsy, heavy muskWet: Ah, hello, vetiver! With a sharp floral undertone.Dry: I agree with the "atmospheric" description. As time passes, the vetiver steps down and now I'm getting a murky, charcoal kind of floral. It's a litte disarming, like remembering a far away time and place, covered in shadows. An interesting blend, but not really something I'd wear.
mymymai Report post Posted December 24, 2012 ITI: It the imp, I get mainly nectarine, musk, and perhaps ambrette. Wet: Black tea, nectarine, something that smells like honeysuckle, voluptuous rose, and jasmine. Deliciously floral. Dry: It's warmly floral with the rose and jasmine, but the black tea and the red musk create a wonderful symphony with paired with the shriller floral notes. starfish327 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 The note list on this is completely different from what I expected. And look, one of the five blends with rose that I can wear. This is Tavern of Hell's just as sexy cousin, just sexy in different ways. This reads as a sort of yellow, lush floral on my skin. I like this one, a lot, and it feels like a very classic perfume blend. It's syrupy. The vetiver is keeping this slow and heavy. If you like Tavern but not the booze note, this is a very close family member.
mermaidsdream Report post Posted January 26, 2014 Rose! Rose, rose and more rose, with a slight woody/resiny tinge. I'm not getting anything else. Roses everywhere, which makes me sad. I'm not even getting red musk out of this, and I usually amp red musk. No, it's all rose all the time.
Teamama Report post Posted July 19, 2015 Just purchased from the Etsy store, and loving it! Rose, sandalwood & jasmine are my best buds, and they're all in there, but not in an overwhelming way. The red musk and vetiver are peeking out, and I sense a little tannin in the background from the black tea. The wood & herb notes keep the florals from dominating. I also thought of honeysuckle. Maybe the nectarine & jasmine combined? A win! Hooray!
Soupy Twist Report post Posted January 13, 2016 Sandalwood in the bottle. Goes on as sandalwood, vetiver, and blackcurrant. It's not dreadful as it dries, but it continues into that weird flower-stamen note which the Lab's jasmine tends to turn into on my skin. Pass.
