So i am a newly addicted bpal fan, but longtime perfume addict. i have a great addiction to musks and i am always searching for the next best.

 

here are some of the scents i have, i love them all but i also want to add something dirtier and irresistible to my collection

 

own a bottle of coyote, which reminds me of a light dog-like skin scent, it's gentle and mild a sort of friendly musk

 

banned in boston which is sweaty boozey and provocitive, it is a bit like after sex, and it's pretty raw

 

fernis wolf, which is basic, yet beautiful musk and wears well on hot sweaty days.

 

dorian is a sophisticated musk on me, clean and bold.

 

brown jenkins is a demand respect kind of musk on me, professional, unique, bold

 

snake oil is a sexy vanilla musk, but sweeeet as a button, too sweet for my taste

 

but i am looking for a smutty, dirty, raw musk, sweaty skin, after sex, something you can apply dirty and it'll enhance the dirt in a good way, banned in boston and perverision are close so far, but i want one without the booze note

 

also lust is pretty smutty, it reminds me of a porn shop, slightly plastic but not in a bad way, i want something more natural then that though...

 

can anyone help?

It's not a musk (as listed, anyway), but your description sounds like a lot of people's experience with O: [Review] The scent of sexual obsession, slavery to sensual pleasure, and the undercurrent of innocence defiled utterly. Amber and honey with a touch of vanilla.

 

Other than that, you seem to have hit everything I'm thinking of...

Ummm... I'll go for a very obvious one: Smut

It is a Lupercalia LE that has been released a few times in different years. Not exactly natural but it hardly gets any smuttier than Smut. But it might not be quite the right thing if Lust already reminds you of a porn shop. Smut is far worse.

 

Also Dragon's Musk is one you should try, especially if it is aged a bit. I love it and it always gets a good response

 

Wulric, the Wolfman from Carnaval Diabolique is also intensely musky with a cocoa note.

 

And if you like the red musk scents like Fenris Wolf definitely try Mme. Moriarty.

 

Edit: And I forgot to mention Sed Non Satiata, that might be a candidate as well.

Try Satyr if you like Fenris Wolf. I have both and I wear them religiously. It's like a heavier, darker, earthier version of Fenris. Animalistic, definitely. I never got that "this fragrance is liquid sex!" thing, but the review thread seems to find it pretty erotic. (Personally, it just makes me want to kill a buck and drag it around the forest with my teeth.)

I agree with Sed non Satiata and Smut (And O too, even though it doesnt list musk) - or black musks like Black Temple Burlesque Troop

 

but I encourage you to check out the animal musks too -- I'm not sure that they ooze sex, but they have a certain rawr factor of their own!

Satyr - luscious and dark and smutty.

Smut - different years vary, but it's... smutty musk! Lots of red musk.

Debauchery - SO STANKY. Unbelievably so. I can't handle it, but it's got to be said.

Czernobog in the Excolo collection is VERY animalistic and crazy dark. Also, you might want to give Scherezade a shot. It's not dirty, rather sweet, really. But, it is not what I would call "clean". It's a womanly musk that even smells quite sexy on the boys as well.

Czernobog is scary. Well, he is supposed to be. It smelled absolutely horrible on me but on my boyfriend it was a great, sexy musk scent. Maybe you get lucky and it works for you, otherwise find a male specimen to try it on

I think the civet musk is supposed to be the strongest out of the bunch. Debauchery and Black Annis both have this.

 

My recs:

Eos: has a warm skin musk at the base and it's golden and glowy. I find the musk to be dominant in this. Mixed with buttercup, honeysuckle and jasmine, but very well blended so the flowers don't overpower the musk.

Wulric: I have a bottle of, and second that choice.

Brown Jenkin: warm fuzzy coconutty brown musk

Bien Loin D Ici: the red musk is wicked strong in this one! There are sweet notes but they stay a bit dry from the intensity of the red musk.

Whose list to Hunt: heard good things but can't vouch for it..

Dragons Heart: if you like dragon's blood, I HIGHLY recommend this one. warm, dark red, intoxicating. my sweetheart loves it.

Fae: sweet but dirty. the oakmoss amps the musk in this making it a lovely balance

Bow & Crown of Conquest: if you liked Dorian, try this. truly haughty!

al-asif: strong arabian musk and spices. Smells like a musky man to me.

From mad tea party, I've found croquet and tis the voice of the lobster to be loaded with musk! Both are sweet though..

even if it is not tecnically a musk, if you are searching for something 'animalistic' I suggest you to try CHIMERA. Its name is very appropriate because it smells about something in the middle between human and beast, just like the ancient Chimera was. I find this parfume very exciting and 'feline'.

I second Hunter Moon.

 

I prefer HM04 by FAR to HM07,

but 04 should be almost impossible to get due to its rareness after all these years -

its raw and untamed,

with a bit of smoke,dark red wine and IMO something that could be blood+animal musk.

Its my all-time-holy-grail scent.

If Bambi had a scent, Ivanushka would be it.

Not very sweet tho,

but definitely fur and animal musk.

but it needs quite a bit of age to it.

Scherezade is not "animalistic" but the combo of saffron and red musk has earned tons of compliments from men and women alike.

If you don't mind civet, you might want to give Yule Cat a try. As a first impression, I wrote down on my notepad, "stinky wild cat got the cream!!!" And that's exactly the picture it paints: a wild cat who's capable of scratching your eyes out, but for the moment languishing in the sun tanning herself.

O is one of my absolute favorites. Its so complex. Sweet, but not candy-like or playful. Spicy but not gourmand or foody- more of a light resinous scent. Its very commanding and you have to be in the right mood to wear it. I could bathe in it.

 

La Petite Mort is like a gentler version of O to me. A lot of the skin scent of O comes out in La Petite Mort.

 

I also love Brown Jenkins, its a delightful morpher.

 

Night Gaunt to me is like a very herbal, slightly spicy musk.

I realize this thread is a little dead but there are some wonderful scents listed on here. I just tried Satyr for the first time yesterday, and I really liked it, but I was wondering if it was a little too similar to Czernobog (which is how I stumbled on this thread). I totally love Czernobog and I don't know that I'd wear Satyr too much if I had them both.

 

(Also, my skin is scared of cinnamon and I suspect there was a little of it in Satyr).

 

When you think "animalistic," then "musk" always comes to mind, in all its various splendors. But I'm a guy, so musks and dark scents take to me. Not all the scents I like would work on most women. That said, Troll is a lovely dark musk with sweet burnt notes.

 

But the most animalistic scent I have, and my absolute favorite, isn't a musk at all. Iago kills. It's a sharp wet leather with that nasty vetiver and a few other things. It's feral. It's a grotty bar down wet steps into a Hamburg Rathskeller. Again, I don't know that it would work for most women, but dab some on your boyfriend and see what happens.....

I haven't tried them yet, since they're brand new, but a few of the new RPG scents sound like they might be pretty close to what you're talking about.
