Minerva Report post Posted October 23, 2011 An aristocratic cologne of titanic passions, moody and brooding. This scent is dark with disillusionment and cynicism: a Victorian fougère and a dashing carnation boutonnière tainted by a cloud of khus, yew, and patchouli. Beautiful fresh and clean carnation at first application. Love this part and then a little wood emerges, I totally agree about the "cloudy" sensation of this blend. Then something happens to remind me why I didn't snag a full bottle of this blend. There is something bitter (yew?) that mingles with the other notes and I get spicy (clove or cinnamon but not carnation) and bitter. Not my thing. Where did that lovely carnation go?
