How to make a paypal order.

I don't remember the random string after my name on the first mailing label or the confirmation (though might have been there). In fact, the label looked normal, except that the last part of my street address was snipped off. The recent CnS did not have any problems with a snipped address, so I think it will be fine this time. *fingers crosed*

I have a newbie-question.

 

I moved to another country for a year but I can't change the country of my paypal-account from Germany to Japan. The only option would be opening a new account for Japan but I'm returning to Germany in 3 months so I don't want to do that.

 

Do I just state my Japanese adress in the comment box and ask them to ship it there? (and in case it doesn't all fit into the box, send them an email?)

I am a complete doofus and sent my latest order via CCNow paying by PayPal. Ack! Will my order still go through?

My PayPal account shows that the money was sent, I emailed the Lab with apologies because I now know about the double charge they will get hit with. Feel terrible for making my mistake.

Your order will still go through and don't feel bad because a lot of us do that in the beginning. I don't use CCNow, but I think that it will say "order processed" and it doesn't really mean that, but once it says "harvested," that is when it is actually pulled and being worked on - something like that, anyway. Anyway, your order should be fine.

this may be a fairly straightforward question, but do you get a cns with a paypal order? my bottle of samhain was the first order that i've made where i went paypal directly and not CnS. i mean, i would image you would but i'm not sure.

Don't feel too bad because I did the same thing yesterday on my first order. I didn't think anything of it since it's listed as an option in CCNow during checkout. I didn't notice the statement on the site regarding Paypal until today. At least we know it should go through okay and I know not to use CCNow for Paypal next time.

i belive you can only do that if they have a "cart" set up with paypal, which BPAL does not.

I know it's been a holiday weekend, but should I be worried that I made a large order via Paypal on the 20th and it hasn't been acknowledged in any way? I know I'm of course not going to get a CnS for some time, but when one orders through Paypal, is there any kind of confirmation that the Lab received the order?

Do you mean acknowledged by the Lab or by Paypal? If you mean Paypal, then yes, you should get a notice. I ask this because on my last couple of Lab orders, my PP notifications were delayed as much as a couple of days. I've never gotten an acknowledgement from the Lab.

Yep - what the lovely portalkat said... you should have received a payment confirmation email from PayPal, but I have also been getting these days after the payment's made - just in the last couple of weeks - where normally the email comes through just seconds after I send the payment. But nope - you won't get any confirmation from the Lab, so you just have to hope/assume that they got your order OK.

Yeah, when I have used PP, I usually don't get any confirmation from the lab, but when it has gotten close to the 3 week time limit,and haven't gotten my order, I usually shoot them a mail, and I get a confirmation, response, tracking etc etc...they are good about that!

I used to worry about that too, but if you got notification from paypal that your payment was successful, then the lab got your order. If you don't hear from them with a CnS in a few weeks, I would take Numanoid's advice and send them an email. The lab has excellent customer service and you'll get a response from them quickly.

Sometimes I don't get a Paypal notification, like the thing that says "You just paid Black Phoenix, again..." but I usually check the next day in my Paypal account just to make sure the transaction worked, and did not get stuck in some cyberspace glitch.

I have made, I dunno, a zillion orders? and most of them through PPal, I really dislike the CC now thing, I mean, it says "now" but one time it took them like 3 weeks to actually make the charge, which was big, for me that is. Imagine my surprise.

Is your address different to the one that's in PayPal? If not, you'll be OK... PayPal payments include your shipping info for the seller so it will be on there for the Lab. Check the email that you got from PayPal (the payment sent confirmation you receive) and it should show your shipping info on that.

 

But if you've emailed the Lab as well, then you've covered yourself just in case - although the correct email for general customer service stuff is answers@blackphoenixalchemylab.com

Thanks for the reply. My confirmation email did not have my address and I have two addresses in paypal, but the address listed as "Home" is the one I wanted, so It should be okay.

Also, it's a good idea to include your order number-- that makes it easier to match your email up with your order!
