ReallyZeb Report post Posted December 29, 2012 Sugar-dusted butter cookies with a squish of raspberry jam. On sniffing the bottle I certainly get buttery cookies, and when I put it in the water this is the smell that fills the bathroom, as if I'd been baking in there.Strangely when I get in the bath I'm not really aware of the smell of cookies any longer, but if I sniff my skin close up I get a faint hint of raspberries. It of course leaves my skin soft and silky, but didn't stick around much on my skin after the bath either, just a very faint cookie smell It might do better for those who apply the oil directly as a moisturiser. astarinel Report post Posted January 5, 2013 Was really hoping for more raspberry, but this is pretty much a buttery sugar cookie scent. I use bath oils as moisturizers on the skin, rather than in the bath, and it has the lovely texture that all the bath oils do, but the scent is SUGAR COOKIE and the squish of raspberry is very faint and only present if I huff long after it dries. It's nice if you just want cookies though.
thekittenkat Report post Posted January 7, 2013 Note: I use these bath oils as after-shower lotions. In the decant: Sugar cookies, no raspberry. Wet: I shook it up some before application. A bit of raspberry mixed in with lots of cookies. The dry-down: Slight raspberry jam with many cookies. Sweet, but I was hoping for something more like the raspberry-heavy Fruit Moon '09. I'll keep my decant, though. :
Leopard403 Report post Posted January 13, 2013 I too get just a whisper of raspberry under sugar cookies, but the scent is soft and sublime. The raspberry note definitely blooms on the skin after it soaks in.
Gwydion Report post Posted March 19, 2013 In bottle: slightly burnt sugar dominant. The butter cookie aspect is a close second. The raspberry is a soft, but yummy counterpoint. It’s pretty realistic and quite decadent.
vanilla323 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 This is super buttery raspberries! Mainly butter and raspberries! I don't get much cookie but it's still ok. The scent is very realistic and yummy but I do wish more of the cookie came out to balance it out. I use it as a moisturizer and not in the bath, and on my skin it fades pretty fast but I like it while it's there.
zankoku_zen Report post Posted July 12, 2016 Burnt sugar, tinge of raspberries, buttery cookie. It's pretty foodie, not not the type I really enjoy. I get a ton of buttery shortbread from this, and something that smells almost almond like. And yes, with a dollop of raspberry jam.
