Dramatic bpals evoke theaters and operas

Hi guys!

 

I am looking for a dramatic bpal which evokes the atmosphere of theaters and opera houses with long red curtains. I am not fond of foodie scents so i look for something floral but deep, dark and elegant.

The Smiling Spider from the discontinued Salon series, and Arachne of Lydia from the Last Unicorn series, both have the kind of clove note that makes me think of thick velvet curtains the BPTP scent Helpful Crone also might fit what you're looking for...I wish I could think of something more available from the GC but I'm drawing a blank!

I immediately thought of Vain Sorceress: "Mad with power, madly in love, or just mad: a dark, spellbinding, seductively narcissistic mix of tuberose, blackened vanilla musk, caraway, white gardenia, red amber, black velvet accord, and jasmine sambac."

It even has the "black velvet accord" that is reminiscent of theater curtains

grand guignol: thanatos is all about the theater. to me it smells like working back stage at a theater. the grime and dust on curtains and hot lights from years of shows, the sweat and excitement and makeup on the performers. the perfumes wafting in from the audience. the mix of creative industry and hard work and glamour but behind the scenes. I adore this scent!
