I can smell pumpkin cheesecake, and I can also smell carrot cake or pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting. No matter how you slice this cake, it's so good. The cream note is more pronounced on me in the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake perfume oil than it is here in the Pumpkin Cheesecake bath oil—here I get more cakey notes. So much fun and would layer beautifully with Pumpkin Spice Everything hair gloss and The Witches perfume oil or Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake perfume oil. Allumina Report post Posted November 25, 2015 Well, I get why the goblins were fighting over it! I'm not much of a foody person, but even I have to admit this smells delightful. On me it's mostly a deep, rich, moist spice cake. After a little while I get a touch of cream/frosting, but it's subtle and just adds depth to the scent. Delightful. I didn't try the perfume oil in this scent, purely the bath oil, and I don't think I will even try it in the bath, because...just...eww, god no - it smells like an old school lunchbox that's been left to go stale over the weekend, like squashed, sweaty cheese sandwiches. If I tolerate that stench and stiff a little closer, I can smell a faint hint of frosting in there, but the over-riding pong is sweaty, stale, borderline mouldy cheese sandwiches No pumpkin, no cupcake, just rotten cheese. I don't often meet BPAL bath oils I dislike, so this one is an unpleasantly stinky surprise - minus 50 out of 10!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Poenari Report post Posted November 28, 2015 OH MY! I only ordered a mini- decant of this because I usually avoid creamy scents, but I adore pumpkin so I had to at least try this. This is as the name says- the cheesecake and especially the cream cheese frosting are spot-on perfection. This is a very foody scent, and reminiscent of carrot cake in it's mild spice, rather than the overly spicy typical pumpkin scents we get. I NEED A BOTTLE STAT! Pumpkin cupcake, cream cheese frosting, a hint of carrot-cakey-goodness and general foodie awesomeness. I will be bathing with this and slathering it as a body oil too. VERY nice.
