Haute Macabre smell alikes

New BPAL lover here! I fell in love with the Haute Macabre scent, and the As Above and So below duo.

Trying to find a scent I'd like or is comparable to those, but while reading the descriptions, it's sooooo hard to imagine-smell! Do you guys have some suggestions?

What I really liked about the HM scent:
the leather! <3_<3
the vanilla/musk
dark and soft, but not too too sweet. not a fan of too sweet, so I've been thinking snake oil might be an outter, eventhough everyone seems to like it.

Can anyone help me out?

I'd recommend trying Antikythera mechanism, Haloes, Liz (Hellboy series) and Sachs.

 

For related, consider Dee, Tombstone, Le Serpent Qui Danse, Whip, Perversion, White Rider...

There was something about marquis de carabas (sp) from the neverwhere gaiman scents that reminded me A LOT of hm. While still being unique.it's a gorgeous scent!

And for so below, I'd recommend goblin as a scent that draws parallels to so below while being its own wonderful creation.
