BPAL Madness!

I like patchouli... but not this much.

Thick, dark, mulchy, vegetal patchouli. It is rich and it is strong. The odd time I get a whiff of burnt caramel. If what you want is a really true, barely-sweetened patchouli almost-single note, this is for you. As for me, I have found the limit of how much patchouli I want in a blend. Swaps!

Oooo definately lemony sugar, but i also understand the chocolate twizzler connection mentioned above. Strange, cause THAT seem like combinations i’d both hate, but this is VERY sniffable.

It reminds me of a combination of notes that’s also in Reptoid dominion, it has something similar where this patchouli is somewhat lime-lemony at times, but nothing overpowers. Delightful.

This is patchouli like I have never encountered it; wet, it is straight up patchoulified candy fluff, dirty spun-sugar. Dry, it is more complex, carmelized brown sugar and woodsy musk. I’m not usually one for foody or gourmand scents, but Silky Bat is a delightful, delicious creation.

I'm surprised that more reviews don't mention lemon, and it makes me wonder if there are huge batch variations with this scent.  My bottle of this is like the lemon in Lemon-Scented Sticky Bat, very strong and on the sugary side of things, with a hint of orange and more of a glittering, crystalline sugar smell to it.  It stays lemony-orange for hours until it fades away.  The patchouli is barely there in the drydown and smells oddly clean, woody, and crisp, slightly green, more than heavily earthy (I like heavily earthy).  Not my favorite for patchouli, but I do like the sugary lemon scent.
