VetchVesper Report post Posted June 21, 2021 In the bottle, I'm getting the bourbon and a spicy, woody oude. There's nothing honey or vanilla about this to my nose. It's fairly masculine. Once I put it on, I swear I get ivory soap. The oude is still there, and it's nice, not p'oudy at all, but there's nothing remotely sweet or foodish going on with my chemistry. I've had my partial of this aging for a while now, but it seems it's just not for me.
yasmaniandevil Report post Posted December 23, 2021 (edited) Herbal, floral wild honey-drenched agarwood kissed with soft vanilla. I amp honey which is strong but beautiful in this blend. I also tend to amp wood scents but love them and this is a beautiful herbaceous, green one. I don't find this oud to be diaper-like or funky, it seems the honey tempers it. At first, this is all honey and loud wood on me but the dry down leaves you with soft sweet honey that is almost "honey-dust" or pollen-like and vanilla. The scent evokes various rich shades of gold, green, and brown. This is a new favorite that I will have to savor. Cali Report post Posted May 10, 2022 Wow!!! This is a strong, strong oudh note. There's definately a ..........moist-y sex thing in there and I don't think it's the bourbon vanilla - that's barely there for me. Strange, it's almost salty on me.
