missnix Report post Posted April 12, 2017 Electric cherry and iced vanilla. I love cherry and vanilla, but was concerned about the "electric" and "iced" descriptors. In the bottle, this smells strongly of a wonderful juicy cherry - a promising start. Applied, the iced aspect immediately dominates, and it's that cold, slightly minty note I know best from Yellow Snowballs. The cherry is a faint presence behind the cold note, and I don't really pick out the vanilla at all, except that sometimes the iced mint has a tinge of vanilla to it. About an hour after applying, the iced note finally backs down and I can smell the cherry a little bit better. But the scent is really fading fast at this point, and soon becomes nearly undetectable. torikitty Report post Posted April 12, 2017 This is a morpher! In the bottle: cherry ice-y with a bit of mint in the background Wet: cherry chapstick, wet ice, something green that may or may not be mint getting more powerful. Perhaps some ambergris, it reminds me of Cathode. I'm not sure what ambergris smells like by itself. Drydown: slowly getting sweeter on the maybe mint side which could be going soapy. Cherry seems to be disappearing. Maybe there's some spanish moss in here, it feels like it's going a bit aquatic. Dry: Sweetness, kinda reminds me of the sweet mint gum, but light on the mint. I don't pick up any cherry. It ends up smelling kinda like a vague sweet clean, with maybe a hint of musk in the background. It's beginning to remind me of the smell of my freshly-bathed nieces with wet hair. Just vague, fruity, clean, and sweet. I did enjoy mixing this with Whoopie Cushion. It ended up smelling like Sonic's Strawberry-Lemon slushy.
Soupy Twist Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Fruit punch. Perfectly balanced, not watered down, high-quality fruit punch. Including the slightly-too-sweet finish of all the undissolved crystals at the bottom of the glass. There is some of the Lab's snow/ice note in the back of the throat on the drydown, but it's strongly overwritten by the fruit punch. It's a good blend, they don't argue, but I wouldn't have pegged it as that if someone else hadn't mentioned it.
Leopard403 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Alas, I lament. Why, why, why can't I get a cherry note to stick around on my skin? Let me tell you, Chattering Teeth broke my heart. Wet on skin it is perfection, like a sweet cherry slushie experienced by the nose rather than the tastebuds. Not a sign of the dreaded cherry cough syrup in sight. But then, in a split second, it's all vanilla mint. VANILLA MINT, Y'ALL. Cherry, though hast forsaken me.
zankoku_zen Report post Posted May 3, 2017 Minty cherry vanilla. Like a sweet cherry slushie with a dash of vanilla. Good throw and wear length. For those of you like candy blends or Pink Phoenix.
Little Bird Report post Posted May 12, 2017 Goes on like a strong, chilly, slap in the face (bpal's slushy, crisp snow note), mixed with the smell of red fruit punch with an extra dribble of cherry syrup. There's a little soapiness with this one, but it's not overwhelming and I kind of like how the soapiness makes the intense, fruity sweetness more bearable. I get a little vanilla creaminess in the drydown, but it's mostly sweet cherry and snow with a hint of soapy-freshness. A very pretty, cherries-in-the-snow scent. I really like the drydown of this, even though I don't usually go for clean/soapy or fruity scents. Snow, sweet cherries and vanilla cream with clean, soapy skin. Allison93 Report post Posted May 27, 2017 In bottle: I love BPALs minty notes and I love their cherry as well. From the reviews people said cherry slushee and that's what it smells like! It's not minty but it smells cold? The cherry is artificial but I love it! How does BPAL make something smell cold? Wet: Cold Cherry slushy. Still not getting any mint, just cold. Pretty true to description! At Burger King you can get a Cherry Slushy with vanilla ice cream in it. Sounds weird but it's great, try it if ever at BK. This is that in a perfume. Cherry icy with vanilla ice cream! Dry: light throw, short longevity. These types of smells are not meant to be powerhouse. This will make a great scent for hot summer days! Keep! 5/
donkehpoo Report post Posted September 4, 2018 Wet: Cold, slightly minty, vanilla-coated cherries. Dry: With anything cherry, I think a lot of people worry about it going cough-syrupy. Well here, the cherry hasn't! ... Mainly because it's totally gone now. :| All I can really smell is a sweet vanilla mint. While I do like it(the mint is light enough for me; I'm not really fond of the scent of mint), I think it's a bit disappointing that the cherry didn't last long. doomsday_disco Report post Posted November 14, 2018 In the decant: Cherry candy and a vanilla-laced snow note. Wet: Cherry (I’m reminded of red Kool-Aid) backed by a vanilla-ed slushy snow note (more ice than vanilla). Dry: The ice note ends up being the dominant note at first, with just a bit of cherry in the background. After a while, the cherry reasserts itself, so that it smells like iced candy-like, syrupy cherry with some vanilla. I can see the cherry slushie comparisons. It’s pretty light after a few hours, though. The throw is mostly the slushy snow, but up close, I get the cherry on top of the snow. Verdict: I’ve been looking for some cherry scents to pair with Dragon Bouffant HG. This one is okay, but not one that I think I’d reach for.
liebchen Report post Posted December 31, 2018 (edited) love! dries down to a slightly fruity (rather than floral) (but it’s not a “fruity” perfume) and more delectable little sister is watching you. there must be aldehydes in this which are contributing to the electric, airy feel. fairybites Report post Posted March 23, 2021 Sugared vanilla and cherry. Kind of reminds me of Alternative Facts but without the fog and lemon notes. I swear that there is a faint minty note in here because it almost reminds me of candy canes and cherries, must be the "iced vanilla" from the description. I like it, but since I've got a bottle of AF I don't need to upgrade this. It's definitely stronger on the vanilla and sugar than the cherry, which is a little disappointing because I was hoping for lots of cherry.
