zankoku_zen Report post Posted November 7, 2018 Louis Gauffier Lebanese cedar, chamomile, frankincense, and cinnamon. This starts of as cedar, and frankincense with a whiff of cinnamon. As it dries, the chamomile comes out, and its a chamomile-cedar blend, with hints of resin. Medium throw and wear length. This one is sort of manly to me. SmellsPrettyGood2Me Report post Posted Tuesday at 02:12 AM Sweet and slightly astringent cedar dominates upfront! This is the most restrained cinnamon I have come across in a BPAL scent yet...you really have to sniff for it. The chamomile trades off with the cedar at dry down and gives it a nice warmth. I'm envisioning a quiet English lady sipping a cup of tea while sitting in her cedar closet as her maid tries to suss out the right fur coat to wear to dinner. Much more spring than fall to my nose.
