Seajewel Report post Posted May 24, 2022 An opoponax-dusted butterfly lights on a droopy fistful of tulips, lilies, iris, ranunculus, and stray wildflowers that are erupting from a tusked, tarnished silver grimace.
jiggahava Report post Posted June 12, 2022 (edited) At first application, I'm getting the mild smell of wildflowers, lilies and Iris. It's a nice, sharp floral blend. No opoponax that I can detect, which usually smells rather incense-y. After an hour the blend starts to go soapy on me, which comes from the lilies and iris together. This might be off-putting for some. But I notice that the soapiness is only with my nose to my wrist up close, less so in the sillage which remains a bright and pleasant floral. At the 5 hour mark, the soapiness fades and the perfume goes back to a mild, pretty floral. I'm going to let this bottle age a while longer, since I've only had it for a week and see if it develops. ShadowEtienne Report post Posted April 29 On me, lily is far and away the predominant note in this. Not a surprise, lily amps on me. This is a really interesting greenish-white lily though, very fresh and not quite opened. There's not much in the way of other floral notes in here other than sort of a quiet slightly dusty backing white floral. I think that the other flowers have dried out and are just giving a hint of aroma while the lily is strong and fresh. There is however, the fresh bright greenery of the flowers, possibly from the wildflowers. It adds to the greenness of the lily and makes this a fresher, brighter scent. Underneath the floral-greenery part of the scent is a hint of incense-resin and a bright sharp note that really does bring to mind Silver. I'm sometimes iffy on metallic scents, but it works here. Overall, I like this, even though I didn't know if I was interested enough to pick it up at first.
